Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Monem Zafar Khan, visited the Red Line project site near Bait-ul-Mukarram Mosque in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, which he stated has become a severe ordeal for citizens due to the incompetence and mismanagement of the Sindh government. During the visit, he spoke to the media and expressed grave concern over the prolonged suffering of the public.
Monem Zafar Khan said that the Red Line project, instead of providing relief to commuters, has turned into a symbol of government negligence and poor planning. He criticized the Sindh government for failing to complete the project in a timely manner and for causing immense hardship to residents and daily travelers in the area.
He demanded that the government immediately take steps to resolve the issues caused by the project and ensure that the public is not made to suffer due to administrative failures.
On this occasion, Ameer of District East Naeem Akhtar, Secretary of the Public Aid Committee Najeeb Ayyubi, Chairman of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town Dr. Fawad Ahmed, along with other local leaders and workers, were also present.
